Chateau Villotte, Bordeaux Blanc
Château Villotte belongs to Denis Baro, the wily yet very fair president of the Cave de Rauzan growers. This is a classic and traditional example; restrained aromas with a pithy, zesty palate - an excellent food accompaniment.
Bordeaux dry whites are one of the region's best-kept secrets. They have not always been worth rediscovering but, over the past few generations, growing techniques have improved and this is a very good vintage for whites.
