The nose on this hugely rewarding, ripe and aromatic Chenin is all lemons meringue pie. The palate is huge but alive with bright orangey fruit, sweetly nuanced oak corners with a bright, mineral flash. Stunningly pleasing glass of old fashioned Chenin that sings of the 40 year old dry-grown bush vines from which it hails. Perdeberg have absolutely made their dry land vineyards their ‘thing’.

located in Paarl in the heart of the Boland of the Western Cape, enjoys one of the finest wine-growing regions of the Cape.
