Bottle notes

From high up in the stunning Stonor Valley, this artisanal, Pinot Noir dominant, reserve wine brings together our finest Hill Top Chardonnays and late-harvested Winery Bank Pinot Noirs from the warm summer of 2018. A memorable vintage allowed grapes to grow and ripen for over 100 days on the vine and base wines to be created without a malolactic fermentation. Gentle exposure to oak casks, regular bâtonnage and 30 months aging on lees allowed the familiar apricot, white peach, and orange citrus notes from our Preamble wines to emerge in a luxuriant expression of this exceptional English chalk valley vineyard.

Perfect both before and with food as the delicate intensity of the wines compliments a wide range of appetisers, white meats, fish and asian inspired dishes.

Tasting Notes

Delicate plum and pears on the nose evolving into the rich apricots, peaches and ripe limes on the palate that are a trademark of our Preamble wines. A rich, long and luxuriant sparkling from 2018, perfect for any celebration and a beautiful accompaniment to many different dishes and desserts.
