Glenturret Triple Wood is a mellow, fruity and sweet whisky that derives from our New Make Spirit. Matured in American and European oak sherry seasoned casks alongside Bourbon barrels, our ever-evolving maturing stocks are visible in this whisky.
Vanilla toffee, maltiness, citrus and pear drops emphasise the integration between spirit and casks. With American Oak influence, bringing toffee, honeyed fruits and the distinct fruity nature of this whisky. European Sherry influence builds on this with sweet wood spices and ginger and cinnamon notes.
Tasting Note
Nose: Vanilla toffee with soft maltiness, citrus and pear drops slowly open.
Palate: Sweet wood spices, ginger and cinnamon.
Finish: Honeyed fruits and lighter oak enter near the finish.
