Banjo Vino Masse Orange Wine
Banjo Vino Masse
Bottle notes
Banjo Vino is the story of a group of wine enthusiasts. Initially, it’s the tale of Campaneus, a wine distribution company. It’s quite a job, bringing the winemaker’s bottle to the glasses of Parisian drinkers, through wine shops and restaurants. It’s a profession of encounters, at the crossroads of needs and discovery.
After distributing wines from passionate winemakers for 7 years, Alexis Rivet founded Banjo Vino in 2020, a wine trading company. Today, the company’s guiding principle couldn’t be clearer: to distribute, sell, and create vibrant wine, the kind that makes us feel alive. Banjo Vino has a strong recognition and a true identity. Future projects include developing their own wines, marking the return of the urban cellar.
Massé is aged for 10 days on its skins, contributing to the wine’s colour and tannin. The aromas and flavours are of stone fruit, white flowers, a hint of citrus zest, with a subtle bitterness on the finish. This is an approachable and very drinkable orange, with very little astringency and just a bit of tannin.
Food pairing suggestion: Appleby’s Red Cheshire Cheese.
Tasting notes: Stone fruit, Citrus zest, Wild flowers
