The Dot Austrian Cherry Zweigelt

Description

Are you one of those cherry pickers in life? Well, here you are: this Zweigelt is the cherry that tops the bowl! Pick it for your next dinner party, offer it to your friends and just watch them get a crush on it.

We Austrians love good wine. And as we love it so much, we make it ourselves. We’ve been keeping our wine a secret. Or do you know about our vibrant, crisp, amazingly appetizing wines? Not only do we have metres high snow for skiing in Austria, we also have fantastic conditions for making wine. Our secret was discovered by Roman Emperors 3000 years ago. Since then, our wine here in Austria has been our inspiration for coming up with the waltz and yodelling and all that spunky stuff.

the.dot is the result of a few Austrian brains with one common goal: to let you share in our inspiration. This is a great sacrifice for us. Because of our long, hard winters, a substantial stock of the best wines are indispensable to us. Despite this our mission is clear: we want to share our rare elixir, our inspiration with you. The concept is simple to grasp: no gimmicks, no catch. What you see is what you get: pure wines, pure taste, pure nature, pure labels. Dot.

But please do not misunderstand us. If our wines make you feel like yodelling – just yodel!

Tasting Note

A fresh, lighter style of red, almost like an Austrian Pinot Noir. Juicy cherry with hints of vanilla and a spicy white pepper kick on the finish.
