Approachable everyday drinking red. The perfect juicy food wine - with pasta, pizza and tomato sauces.
PRODUCTION Produced from Sangiovese grapes from the Salento peninsula in southern Puglia. Traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks, with six days spent on skins. No oak ageing.
TASTING NOTE Appealing aromas of fresh red fruit and a touch of black pepper spice. The palate is vibrant with juicy red and black berry fruit characters, and a hint of spice. Soft, rounded tannins are balanced by tangy acidity.
FOOD MATCH Ideal with simple pasta tossed in butter and Parmesan or with tomato based sauces.
