Bodegas Staphyle was started by the Porretta family at an old winery in 2002. The vineyards are in the area of Ugarteche and Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, known as the first wine region of Argentina, where each of the varietals are cultivated with dedication, being they: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bonarda, Sauvignon Blanc.
Tasting Notes
Medium bodied with aromas of raspberry, blueberry, cherries, underlying herbal notes and a chocolatey finish.
Food pairing
Pair with tomato-based dishes or grilled steak and portobello mushrooms.
