This is a ripe, supple and universally crowd-pleasing vin rouge that epitomises everything we love about this region of France. It's a classic blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and a cheeky 10% of Mourvèdre, taken from different soil types to create a wine packed with character.
The team at Calmel & Joseph farm much of their plots organically and sustainability and have lower intervention at the heart of what they do, so this is truly a bodacious wine with a conscience!
And the motto on the back of the label sums up their hands of approach; "ici le hasard a bon goût" (a.k.a. Whatever you choose, it'll be good!
