Consisting of 230 growers and 700 hectares, Cantina Valpolicella Negrar is a cooperative located just a few kilometres from Verona, in the heart of Valpolicella. They are one of the major producers in Valpolicella Classico owning a quarter of all Classico Vineyards and are the only winery to have vineyards in all 5 communes of the region. They have a long and distinctive history of winemaking going back to 1933 and were the first to produce Amarone in 1939, after a serendipitous mistake producing Recioto.

Tasting notes

This wine is a pale straw yellow colour and has an attractive, floral perfume. It is medium bodied with apple and citrus fruit flavours supported by delicate notes of almond and candied peel. The finish is clean and refreshing.
