Cascina Vengore, 'Sanromé' Arneis, Terre Alfieri DOCG
Bottle notes
Arneis is one of Piedmont's main white varieties. It can often be a bit
neutral and dull this however from the small Terre Alfieri DOCG is full
of character. Perfumed with stone fruits and a floral note. Tangy and
fresh with peach. nectarine and zippy lime/lemon notes, really zesty and
refreshing yet with plenty of weight making this an excellent food
wine.
Tasting notes
Nose: fresh and persistent, with hints of green apple and apricot, pineapple and the almond note at the end.
Taste: dry and delicate
Colour: pale straw yellow with greenish reflections
Food matching: hors d'oeuvres, fish, cold dishes and Fish and shellfish
