Château Méaume is a bit of a Majestic legend. It’s been a favourite of our customers for more than thirty years, while their vineyards have hosted many a Majestic colleague for vendage. We have a real soft spot for this wine – just like Roald Dahl, who called it ‘simply delicious’. Now you can feel doubly certain that this is a sound buy. Not only is it delicious – packed with plummy blackberry-fruity flavours, with a lovely silky texture – it does good for the planet too. Because Château Méaume are sustainability pioneers. Their vineyards buzz with wildlife – just like something out of one of Mr Dahl’s stories. Delicious and worthy. An irresistible combination. It’s perfect alongside a platter of classic French charcuterie, terrines – or even a superior pork pie for a decadent picnic.
