Chapelle De Marin Cotes Du Rhone
With attractive, bramble fruit and floral aromas, the palate is up-front and fresh with warm spice and real depth. This is a classic southern Rhône red; ripe and characterful with smooth supple tannins.
From vines grown on his own family domaine in the heart of the southern Rhone valley. With an average age of 30-35 years, the grapes from the older vines were picked by hand. 60% Grenache, 20% Carignan, 10% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah.
Hand picked bunches are carefully destemmed and vinified using traditional minimal interventionalist techniques. This wine is made without the use of oak as we seek to retain a pure fresh fruit character.
Lovely with BBQs; grilled meats, halloumi and vegetables. Herby sausages, pasta with Mediterranean vegetables.
