Coteaux du Giennois is a small appellation a few miles to the north of Pouilly-Sur-Loire (Pouilly Fumé): this wine comes from one of our Pouilly Fume producers, Benoit Chauveau. Benoit takes this appellation seriously, producing two cuvees from varying soil types. We have selected their 'Calcaire' which is grown on limestone.
The wine is vibrant, and largely dominated by citrus notes, but you can also find subtle floral and fresh herb notes, particularly nettle.
