David Franz is the son of winemaking great, Peter Lehmann. After spending some time in the great wine regions of the world, David returned to his native Barossa to toil the fields. Like his father, David firmly believes great wine is made when you see the wine through the whole process, from vine to bottle, starting at pruning. His extreme knowledge and passion combined with having Carte Blanche over 75 acres of prime vineyard results in wines of stunning quality. This is by far one of the most exciting ranges of wine to come out of Barossa and Eden for a while…and we are pleased to bring them to you!

• The grapes are picked early from vines based on loose sandy loam which sits on top of Angaston marble that supplies a pure water source all year long
• Grapes are hand picked in cool temperatures and whole bunch basket pressed. Cool ferment and malolactic ferment before 6 months on lees
• 129 year old Semillon Vines
