Deep Roots is made by three young, well known and innovative winemakers - Jochen Dreissigacker, Stefan Winter and Philipp Wittmann - all of whom are deeply rooted in the Rheinhessen. Fruit is sourced from a group of 26 young growers who originally formed to promote their wines together under one PR umbrella, but soon saw the value in creating a single, quality wine which they could all contribute to. Each of them now gives up a percentage of the fruit from their estates for the Deep Roots bottling.
