Champagne Delavenne is a family run estate that owns vineyards in three Grand Cru Villages: Ambonnay, Bouzy and Cramant. They farm all of their vineyards as organically and responsibly as possible. As the family likes to say, "it is essential for us to respect what nature has to offer, which enables us to produce high quality grapes". The estate does not allow malolactic fermentation and ages the wines for a minimum of three years before release. 

Delavenne's Brut Rosé is made from all Grand Cru fruit: Chardonnay from Cramant and Pinot Noir from Bouzy and Ambonnay. A dollop of rare Bouzy Rouge (still Pinot Noir) makes it pink and provides those outrageously pure Pinot aromatics. The wine pours a beautiful deep salmon-pink color. On the nose, high toned aromas of roses, fresh strawberries and red currant jump out of the glass. The first sip is luxuriant: ripe and mouth-filling yet fresh and vibrant with incredible persistent, tiny bubbles. This is a full-bodied and rich Champagne that finishes long and vibrant. Without a doubt, one of Champagne's real treasures!

TASTING NOTE

Our Brut Rosé Grand Cru is the result of a delicious blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and the famous Bouzy. Treat yourself to its raspberry-hued robe, its strawberry and blackberry bouquet.

Produced from our vineyards in Bouzy, 100% Grand Cru. 43% Pinot noir, 40% Chardonnay and 17% Bouzy Rouge (AOP Coteaux Champenois), no malolactic fermentation

Aromas of red berries, baked red apples and rose petals. This Champagne is juicy and mouthfilling with a creamy persistent mousse, and an elegant, mineral-laced finish.

FOOD PARING

As an aperitif or with chocolate desserts, fresh strawberry or cherry pie.
