The Cuvee
This cuvée is made according to sustainable farming methods in order to reduce the doses of phytosanitary products as much as possible. Of the 15 hectares of Pierre Lavau's family property, 4 are devoted to the La Tuque Bel Air estate. The vines, which are on average 26 years old, come from a soil located on the clay-limestone plateau of the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The vinification is carried out in lined concrete tanks. The wine is aged for 12 to 14 months in a proportion of 20% new barrels. The Merlot grape variety brings complexity and flesh to the wine, while Cabernet Sauvignon gives real structure to the blend. This wine can be kept for up to 5 years in your cellar. It is a magnificent beef steak that will allow you to sublimate your bottle in the best possible way. A wine that is both mineral and elegant. The nose reveals lovely scents of black fruits such as blackcurrant or blackberry, and you can also feel the woody side due to the 20% new barrels.
