Domaine Fournillon Bourgogne Epineuil Rouge
Small family owned domaine, they bottle around 20% of their production (the best part) and so remain known only to the clever. This is a great example of Bourgogne Pinot Noir from the Epineuil Commune, neighbouring Tonnerre. Fournillon have some great plots of well sheltered vines located in the valleys. A light wine with angels' wings, aromas of red fruit (raspberry, cherry, red) and black fruit (blackberries, blueberries, blackcurrants) punctuated with peppery and delicate smoky notes.
