A bottle-fermented German Riesling Sekt from the Pfalz region. The grapes for this wine come from the estate’s best vineyards and are picked early to leave high levels of purifying acidity in the final wine. This comes through as a beautiful shard of zesty lime slicing through the fuller red apple and peach notes.
The wine was on the lees for 15 months. This is a Trocken Sekt, which translates as Dry, and is akin to the French term Sec, corresponding to a sparkling wine with 17-32 grams per litre of residual sugar
