A beautiful region high up in the Central Ranges of New South Wales, Orange is increasingly recognised as a great source of premium cool-climate wines. This cool climate chardonnay has an inviting brilliant pale straw colour.
Fresh aromas of white and yellow stone fruit, with some notes of citrus fruit. Generous and round fruits, carried by elegant and restrained oak. There is a refreshing crispness to the finish with a lively touch of grapefruit, which draws you back for more.
Tasting Notes
The Highgate wines always present great value as each year they search for high quality fruit sources that will fit the bill. This release they landed in the Hunter Valley and produced a wine that has good depth and richness with a hint of new oak.
