With 60% Cabernet and 40% Shiraz, the combined flavours have been brought together by the subtle influences of 10 months in French oak. Cabernet and Shiraz grapes were harvested and fermented and aged separately. Each component was fermented in stainless steel tanks and pressed to tanks before racking off into barrels for malolactic fermentation and maturation. The Cabernet and Shiraz components were blended and fined and filtered before bottling.

vintage notes
The 2018 vintage had a wet winter followed by dry and warm conditions for summer which continued well into autumn. Due to the perfect slow ripening pattern both red and white grape varieties showed intense colour, aroma and concentrated flavours while achieving perfect tannin ripeness.
