Les Enracinés is a 100% original wine, made from the Chardonnay grape and planted around the Chardonnay village north of Mâcon. Here, this king grape variety has been cultivated there since the 11th century by generations of winegrowers, "rooted" in these lands which saw them being born and which cultivate their vines with passion. It is a project that was developed by Grégory Barbet, owner and winemaker in Southern Burgundy.
- Terroirs: We select plots which are planted around the village of Chardonnay, a renowned terroir nicknamed the "Pearl Slab". These are mainly calcareous soils which have the characteristic of producing pure and delicate wines.
- Vinification: Vinification and bottling are done without adding sulfites with aging on fine lees for 6 months.
FRUITY AND WELL-ROUNDED
An unexpected mix of fragrances is getting out of this straw-colored wine: notes of hazelnut, almond, white chocolate, melted butter and straw are mixing up in a delicate and harmonious marriage. The intense acidity of citrus fruit and green apple is at the center of the supple and round attack. The freshness is at the rendezvous of the acidulous finish.
