Bottle notes
The 2015 vintage of Big G goes back to its roots, being comprised only of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. There’s an undeniable Bordeaux influence in the style of the wine, which has gone from strength to strength since winemaker Thierry Haberer came on board, whilst being unashamedly South African at the same time.
Whilst Big G 2010 was a big ol’ brute needing patience and a calmly spoken word to coax out its inner beauty this latest expression is a gentle giant with oodles of charm.
