Who initiated Martínez Lacuesta was Felix Martinez with only 21 years later having directed the Union of Demoninación wines. The vineyards stretch over 15 hectares, and having more than 8,000 barrels, French oak for aging their wines. As a differentiator, wood has been a key factor in Martinez Lacuesta by having its own cooperage and allow for better replenishment and conservation of oak.
