Alto Adige Angra Nals Margreid Pinot Noir

Bottle notes

Nals Magreid are a high-quality cooperative producing wines from grapes grown only on the most suitable sites.

Their aim is to bring only top-quality grapes into the winery where they are turned into wine in a way that is both ecological and allows the finished wine to express its terroir accurately.

There are two ranges of wines, Classic and Selection & they all are single vineyard wines with Selection representing the best parcels from each vineyard that bears its name.

The ANGRA Pinot Noir vineyards are situated in the Oltradige & it is a compact and impermeable morainic soil, formed by sediments from the Ice Age.

The Mediterranean climate is characterised by hot summers and mild winters, as well as the Ora, a warm afternoon wind that comes from Lake Garda to the south.

Tart cherries, fresh herbs and sweet baking spices lift out of the glass.

Vibrant and pure, the palate of this wine is energetic with sour red fruits, savory spices and understated earthy notes.
