Olivier Guyot Bourgogne Pinot Noir
The Guyot family is one of the oldest in Marsannay-La-Côte. Olivier Guyot took over the domaine in 1990 and his son David joined in 2018. Keeping to the spirit of his grandfather’s saying “ There are no good wines without qual-ity grapes”, Olivier devotes most of his time to working with the vines and intervenes as little as possible in the wine making process. The Domaine covers 15 hectares and produces a range of wines from Burgundy Villages to Grands Crus.
There have been no herbicides used in our vineyards since 2000, replaced by hilling up/de-hilling in winter and ploughing in spring. The grapes are hand-picked only. Fermented in concrete tanks, the wine has been aged for 12 to 18 months in barrels, 40% new oak barrels and 60% 3-year -old barrels.
