The Najerilla Valley, in the heart of Rioja Alta, at the foot of the Sierra de la Demanda, is an isolated area because of the absence of communication routes and ignored by the big wineries. Despite that, it maintains a heritage of small vineyards at altitude that produce a fruit of extraordinary freshness and quality. The Camino Real crosses through the valley and joined the court of Ndjera with the monasteries of San Mill6n de la Cogolla. For Vintae this valley is part of its origins. Badaran is located there, the village of our founders, the Arambarri family and Cardenas where our technical director, Raul Acha, grew up among the vines that his family has worked for generations.
