Grapivore (Red)

Bottle notes

Grapivore is a new generation red wine, light and ultra-refreshing, made from the resistant Artaban grape variety.

With only 11% alcohol, it seduces with its freshness, its aromas of crisp red fruits, and its reduced ecological footprint, for a pure, modern, and responsible wine to quench your thirst.

Varietal specificities

Artaban is a resistant grape variety. It is the result of a natural cross between a European vine (Vitis Vinifera) with recognized oenological qualities and an American wild vine (Vitis Rupestris) and is naturally immune to powdery mildew and downy mildew. The result: up to 15 times fewer treatments than in organic farming, and therefore a significantly reduced carbon footprint, lower water consumption, and viticulture that is gentler on the planet.

Vinification & ageing

This relatively early-ripening grape variety is harvested at maturity with only 11% alcohol potential. Part of the Artaban is vinified using carbonic maceration (whole uncrushed grapes) and the other part is crushed and vinified gently. Aged in stainless steel vats to preserve its brightness. With its 11% alcohol content, Grapivore is a new generation red wine: light, fresh, and ultra-refreshing.

Tasting Notes

A vibrant red wine that is light and airy! On the nose, aromas of juicy cherry, crisp raspberry, and a hint of white pepper. On the palate, the texture is supple and fluid, with lovely liveliness and very discreet tannins. The finish is clean, fresh, almost salty… A thirst-quenching wine par excellence.

food & wine pairing

Pizza, tacos végétarien, grilled cheese et oignons confits.
