Pierre Antonin Petit Sauvage Orange
Pierre Petit Sauvage Orange
Bottle notes
For adventurous drinkers who want something different than
white or red. This is a small, wild beer that's accessible enough for
beginners, yet also exciting for the more experienced drinker.
A Vin de France... so it's nice to take a different route
than the prescribed one. Pierre and Antonin are doing this by working with a
hybrid and mold-resistant grape, the Souvignier Gris. This grape even requires
up to 15 times fewer powdery mildew treatments than conventional organic
farming. So, super good for the environment...
But now for the wine, what's it like? The Petit Sauvage
Orange is a natural wine through and through – unfiltered, lightly macerated on
the skins, and spontaneously fermented, with minimal intervention – but crafted
in such a way that you don't necessarily have to be a wine hipster to
appreciate it. The delicate nose reveals aromas of jasmine flower, white tea,
and peach. On the palate, it offers a full texture and reveals notes of citrus
and spice. A unique wine with endless pairings! It pairs perfectly with modern
and exotic dishes like chicken masala, tagines, pad Thai, and spicy tacos.
Naturally, it's also organic and vegan.
