The history of the winery Santa Carolina began in 1875, when the rich visionary entrepreneur Luis Pereira Kotapos decided to take part in the ambitious project of winemaking in South America and bought land in Chile, in Santiago. The name of the winery was born in the name of his beloved wife of Louis - Carolina Iñiguez Vicuña.
