Deep red colour, with bright purple hues. Aromas of ripe red fruits such as plums and raspberries, complexed by delicate chocolate and vanilla provided by the oak. This is a dark, brooding, oak laden version, crammed with plums, damson and mulberry fruits. Total tastebud domination. Good structure and velvety tannins give it an elegant long end. Cries out for rare beef, preferably on the bone.
