Found in the heart of Spain’s Basque Country, Señorío Otxaran represents the flagship expression of Virgen de Lorea, a producer renowned for its dedication to quality and tradition in Txakoli winemaking. The vineyards lie just a few kilometres from the Cantabrian Sea, where cool Atlantic breezes and mineral-rich soils bring elegance, vibrancy and a distinctive saline edge to the wines.

The 2024 vintage opens with aromas of pear, lime zest and crisp green apple, layered with delicate floral notes and a whisper of sea spray. On the palate, it’s lively, finely textured and beautifully balanced, with a refreshing backbone of acidity and a subtle spritz that enhances its pure, fruit-driven character. The finish lingers with citrus, herbs and a clean mineral edge.

A superb partner to shellfish, anchovies, or sushi.
