This local wine comes from estate-owned, high-quality, full of character and tadeonal vineyards within a local district. Local grape varieties and limited income are the basic requirement for this wine.

The difference between limestone and Buntsandstein Rieslingen is an essential component and theme of the Riesling collection from Hanewald-Schwerdt. The Buntsandstein Riesling, differs by its warm aroma noticeable in the appearance and aroma of the slightly cooler location Riesling from the Kalkreist from Leistadt. The vineyards in Ruppertsberg are a good 100 meters lower than the vineyards in Leistadt.
