Cave de Julienas-Chaintre St Veran Cuvee Cinq
For the white Burgundy lovers, this is textbook Saint-Veran! Lemon and peach with a touch of florality and a nice creamy, rounded palate.
In 2013 the Co-operative of Julienas and Macon-Chaintré united to form one company providing winemaking facilities for 169 winegrowers from across Southern Burgundy and Beaujolais. The Cave selects the best grapes from its members and uses modern winemaking facilities to produce this range of wines that will give great pleasure immediately upon release at a price that won't break the bank.
Pale yellow in colour. Delicate on the nose, fresh with lemony fruit and hints of white flowers. The palate is rounded with notes of citrus fruit and peach. A little oaking adds hints of creaminess to the mix. Clean, fresh and long on the finish.
